Beyond Meat misses quarterly sales estimates -Breaking

In recent years, the market for plant-based meat has been more competitive than traditional ones. Tyson Foods Inc (NYSE :), Kellogg(NYSE 🙂 Co and newbies are also in the market. They offer big discounts for consumers.
In the April quarter, sales of U.S. restaurants and food-service outlets fell 7.5%
The company stated that the decrease in U.S. Foodservice Channel net Revenues was due to “the discontinuation of distribution at certain customers, which was included during the year-ago period.”
In the quarter reported, net revenue reached $109.5million, up from $108.2million a year ago. Refinitiv interviewed analysts who expected to make $112.3million.
