France stocks higher at close of trade; CAC 40 up 2.50% -Breaking

Investing.com – France stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

Paris closed with an increase of 2.50% and the index gaining 2.34%.

The best performers of the session on the were L’Oreal SA (EPA:), which rose 4.81% or 14.85 points to trade at 323.85 at the close. TotalEnergies SE, (EPA:), gained 4.58% (or 2.20) to trade at 50.35. LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton SE was up 4.28% (or 23.50) to 573.00 late trade.

They were also the worst performers of the session. Euroapi SAS (EPA:) fell by 5.43% (0.79 points) to close at 13.71 Alstom SA (EPA,) dropped 5.16% or 1.19 point to finish at 21.85. Eurofins Scientific SE(EPA:), was down 1.06% (0.88 points to 82.50).
