© Reuters. Germany stock prices higher after close of trade, DAX up 2.17%Investing.com – Germany stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
The Frankfurt close added 2.17% to the index, which climbed 2.09% and gained 1.65%.
Allianz SE VNA O.N. were the top performers in the session. (ETR): The ETR rose 5.90%, or 11.43 points, to trade at 205.15 by the end. Meanwhile, Porsche Automobil Holding SE, (ETR) gained 5.25% (or 3.80 points) to finish at 76.14. Bayerische Motoren Werke AG was up 5.88% (or 4.05 point) to 82.26 late trade.
They were also the session’s worst performers Bayer AG NA (ETR 🙂 dropped 6.22% to trade at 58.04 by the close. Zalando SE (ETR:) declined 1.11% or 0.36 points to end at 32.17 and Henkel & Co KGaA AG Pref (ETR:) was up 0.09% or 0.06 points to 63.30.
Thyssenkrupp AG O.N. were the MDAX’s top-performing companies. (ETR:), which increased 11.22% to 7.83 LEG Immobilien AG (ETR) was at 101.30, up 7.1%; Carl Zeiss Meditec AG ETR: (ETR) gained 6.2% to close at 113.40.
