(Reuters) – Twitter Inc (NYSE:) Jack Dorsey, co-founder of Facebook, stated Wednesday that he wasn’t keen to take over the reins at the company. He also hinted that his involvement would be limited if Elon Musk is able to close the deal.

Refinitiv reports that Dorsey currently leads payments firm Block Inc. He owns 2.4% of Twitter.

There is not much information available about the new company leadership after Musk’s buyout offer for $44 Billion was accepted by the Twitter board on April 25.

Reuters reported April 29th that Musk was looking for a chief executive. However, there have been reports that Tesla Inc (NASDAQ:) Inc Chief may temporarily replace Musk.

As the CEO of Twitter, Dorsey’s tenure has been turbulent. Two years after his launch, Twitter’s first CEO, Dorsey was replaced. In 2015, he took the job back again, and in late 2016, he relinquished the title to Parag Agarwal as chief technology officer.

A recent regulatory filing revealed that Musk had been in discussions with Dorsey regarding his participation to the acquisition.
