Liberty Global Earnings Miss, Revenue Beats In Q1 -Breaking

Liberty Global (NASDAQ 🙂 and Investing.com reported Tuesday that the first quarter revenue exceeded expectations.

Liberty Global posted earnings per share (EPS) of $0.069 on $1.85B in revenue. Investing.com polled analyst to predict EPS of $0.416 based on $1.84B revenue.

Liberty Global shares have fallen 21% since the start of the year. However, they are still below 28.45% of their 52-week high of $30.58 on September 28, 2021. They outperform the Nasdaq, which has fallen 24.97% since the beginning of the year.

Liberty Global’s earnings report comes after Alphabet C reported an earnings miss on April 26th, reporting EPS at $24.62 per share on revenue $68.01B. This compares to the forecasts of EPS at $25.59 for revenue $68.06B.

Meta Platforms exceeded expectations in April 27, posting a quarter-end EPS (EPS) of $2.72 on revenues of $27.91B compared with the $2.56 forecast on revenue at $28.28B.
