(Reuters) – Spirit Airlines According to a Wednesday regulatory filing, Inc will host a shareholders meeting for a vote regarding its merger proposal with Frontier Group Holdings Inc on June 10.

Spirit rejected JetBlue Airways Corp’s offer for $33 per share to acquire it earlier this month. It claimed that there was little chance of the takeover being approved by government regulators.

Frontier and JetBlue were involved in a fight for Spirit. The two airlines argue that mergers with Spirit would help them compete better with legacy carriers or “big four” airline that hold nearly 80% US passenger markets.

JetBlue didn’t immediately reply to Reuters’ request for comment.
