ABOARD AIR Force ONE (Reuters) – The White House condemned Wednesday’s killing of Al Jazeera reporter Shireen Abu Akleh, a Palestinian American journalist and demanded that an investigation be conducted into her death.

On Wednesday, an Israeli raid on the occupied West Bank killed the reporter. Karine Jean-Pierre (White House deputy press secretary), spoke to journalists on Air Force One while President Joe Biden was flying to Illinois. She said that “we demand a thorough investigation into the cause of her death.”
