CHICAGO, (Reuters) – General Electric (NYSE:) Co said Thursday that it anticipates a positive change in business in the second quarter of this year despite ongoing inflationary pressures and tight supply chains.

“We remain confident in the recovery in the second half,” Carolina Dybeck Happe, GE’s chief financial officer, told Goldman Sachs (NYSE:) Industrials & Materials Conference.

However, she said that the company expected to spend cash this quarter, despite an increase in cash flow.
