Musk looks to scrap Tesla margin loan with new Twitter funding

(Reuters] – Elon Musk talks about raising enough preferred and equity financing to finance his planned buyout. Twitter Inc Bloomberg Law reports that a $6.2 billion loan was not required to finance his Tesla Inc shares.

These were the billionaire’s advisors. Twitter refused to comment while Musk couldn’t be reached.

Musk borrowed $12.5 billion to finance the purchase of Twitter. After bringing in coinvestors, Musk reduced the loan to $6.25 Billion earlier in this month.
