The CFTC Commissioner appoints a senior policy advisor with experience in digital asset regulation

Caroline Pham is currently serving as a Commissioner at the United States Commodity Futures Trading Commission (or CFTC). She has also announced that a former Head of U.S. Regulation Policy at Investment Banking firm Credit Suisse Securities will join her team.

Pham made the announcement on Friday. Keaghan Ames, her senior policy advisor at the CFTC, will serve as her counsel and head of U.S. regulatory policy starting on May 23. Ames spent more than two decades at Credit Suisse as the vice president and chief of U.S. regulation policy. This included providing advice to executives about digital asset regulation.
