In the last few weeks, there has been chaos on crypto markets. After crypto giants (BTC and (ETH), which suffered jaw-dropping losses, buyers are filled with panic and fear.
Luckily, there seems to be light at the end of the dark tunnel after Ethereum’s price broke past $2,000 yesterday. Twitter (NYSE:) user ‘IncomeSharks’ tweeted that “ETH caught the breakout, back above $2,000. Stop moved in profit, spot traders might hold and sell on a sign of weakness.”

Although the past few weeks were difficult for Ethereum, most believe that 2022 will bring ETH a brighter future. Mike McGlone from Bloomberg intelligence predicts that ETH prices could break $4000 in 2022, according to a recent prediction.
Coinpedia, a news source, sees ETH as having a bright future. It predicts that ETH will be between $6,500 to $7,500 by 2022 if there is a continuation of the bullish trend seen in 2022.
Similar to this, Ian Balian (Founder of Token Metrics) predicts that ETH will reach $8,000 by 2022.
Most people believe that ETH’s price will see these numbers when it successfully transitions to Ethereum 2.0.
