Imported infant formula could help lift U.S. supply in weeks -FDA chief -Breaking

WASHINGTON, (Reuters) – The Food and Drug Administration is set to outline a plan for streamlining imports of infant formula next week, its chief stated on Friday. He added that this action, along with other actions, would help “significantly improve supply in the U.S. within a matter of days.”

Robert Califf, FDA Commissioner, stated in series of tweets (NYSE:) that the FDA will work with manufacturers to ensure imported baby formula meets U.S. standards.
