CFTC commissioner appoints senior policy adviser experienced in digital asset regulation -Breaking

A senior adviser in policy for digital asset regulation is appointed by the CFTC commissioner

Caroline Pham is currently serving as a Commissioner at the United States Commodity Futures Trading Commission (or CFTC). She has also announced that a former Head of U.S. Regulation Policy at Investment Banking firm Credit Suisse Securities will join her team.

Pham made the announcement on Friday. Keaghan, who will start May 23, as a senior policy advisor and counselor at the CFTC. Ames was vice president of Credit Suisse and headed U.S. regulatory policies for over two years. He also advised executives regarding digital asset regulation. From the Institute of International Bankers where he was the director of Government Affairs since July 2021, Ames joins the CFTC.
