Rocket Lab USA, Inc. (RKLB) shares were trading more than 5% higher after-hours following the company’s reported Q1 results, with EPS of ($0.06) coming in worse than the consensus estimate of ($0.04).

Revenue increased 124% over the year to $40.7 million. That beats the consensus of $27.48m. Space Systems was responsible for 84% of quarterly revenue. It also grew 1,873% annually.

Company provided Q2/22 outlook. It expected revenue to range from $51-54 million compared with the consensus estimate of $41million. Launch Services revenues are expected at approximately $19 Million and Space Systems revenue expected at $32-$35 Million.

The company announced also that the CAPSTONE satellite has been delivered to Rocket Lab, New Zealand. They are now preparing for launch to lunar orbit with the Lunar Photon and Electron rocket vehicles.
