South Korea’s SK ties up with Bill Gates’ TerraPower for nuclear power opportunities -Breaking

SEOUL (Reuters). South Korea’s SK Inc announced Tuesday that it had signed an agreement to TerraPower, a U.S. venture created by Bill Gates. The purpose of the deal is to explore opportunities related small-sized nuclear power plants, also known as small modular reactors.

SK Inc is the holding company of South Korea’s second largest conglomerate SK Group. It said that it had signed the agreement with its affiliate SK Innovation Co Ltd.

There were no investment details mentioned in the statement.
