Investing.com — Block Inc (NYSE:) subsidiary Square announced Wednesday that it has acquired GoParrot, an all-in-one digital ordering and marketing platform for restaurants.

According to their LinkedIn page, GoParrot was established in 2017 and is located in New York. The company’s omnichannel software enables restaurants to better connect with customers.

The company has been a long-term partner of Square, with its products integrating with Square’s solutions ecosystem.

GoParrot provides marketing software for restaurants. This allows them to automate their campaigns, and sellers can access reports that show engagement and growth.

Square released a press release stating that GoParrot allows Square merchants to offer an outstanding customer experience and a customized white-label application which they can customize to reflect their brand.

Buyers can place orders seamlessly through the app while simultaneously viewing and customizing top sellers. “Mobile devices can be used by customers to view top selling items and deal popups, which will help increase their customer retention,” the developers added.
