Abbott baby formula plant on track to reopen within 1-2 weeks -FDA commissioner -Breaking

WASHINGTON, (Reuters) – Abbott Laboratories (NYSE:) and U.S. Food and Drug Administration plan to reopen company’s Sturgis baby formula manufacturing plant in Michigan within one-two weeks. FDA Commissioner Robert Califf announced Thursday.
Califf said that he believes the bill will be open in the next two weeks.
Califf stated that the FDA can’t determine if cases of sick babies are related to the Abbott plant until it is fully investigated.
