(Reuters) – Oklahoma legislators gave their final approval Thursday to a bill banning abortion, except for incest or medical emergencies, and allowing private citizens to sue women who help them get abortions within six weeks.

The bill, which effectively ends Oklahoma abortion access, is the second that Oklahoma’s Republican-led legislature passed in this spring.

Now, the bill will be sent to Republican Governor Kevin Stitt who indicated support for anti-abortion legislation.
