Tesla (NASDAQ:), CEO Elon Musk declared via Twitter (NYSE:) he would now vote for the Republican Party. His controversial tweet began by stating that he was a former Democrat voter, but now he votes for the Republican Party.

“Now, watch their dirty tricks campaign against me unfold,” concluded the billionaire in his now viral tweet.
