AuroraFS Uses Authorized Access Control to Boost Security
  • AuroraFS introduced the Authorized Access Control, (AAC), in order to improve security.
  • In the new decentralized content market, AAC is a novel concept.
  • It can be used to help secure and scale the content streaming sector.

AuroraFS Cloud Storage and Distribution Network recently announced that a new feature has been implemented. It was an eagerly awaited addition to the network’s network ever since it began development. This feature – Authorized Access Control (AAC) – is an automated process that gives the network an additional layer of security.

This new feature distinguishes the AuroraFS commercial grade decentralized content storage system and streaming network from non-commercial developments or not-fully distributed networks. The decentralized content market has never had this extra security layer. Initiatives like the Swarm algorithm or the InterPlanetary File System, (IPFS), DHT-dependent storage protocol (Distributed Hash Table), have been able to operate without the benefit of increased network security.
