G7 determined to halt rise in inflation

Having hosted a meeting of his G7 counterparts, Christian Lindner, German Finance Minister, stated that the Group of Seven economic leaders are committed to halting inflation.
Lindner stated that inflation must be brought back to 2% as soon as possible and that the central banks have a great responsibility to control inflation in G7 countries.
