They were the top performers at the session Codan Ltd (ASX) climbed 14.52%, or 0.98 points, to close at 7.73. Elders Ltd (ASX) gained 8.91%, or 1.22 point to close at 14.92 NRW Holdings Ltd (ASX: ) traded up 4.20% to 1.99 in late trade.
Polynovo Ltd. ASX: was among the worst-performing stocks of the session. It fell 7.5%, or 0.10 point to trade at 1.23 by the end. Incitec Pivot Ltd (ASX) fell 3.74%, or 0.14 points, to reach 3.60. Kogan.com Ltd was at the same time down 2.67%, or 0.10 point to 3.64.
The Sydney Stock Exchange saw falling stocks surpass advancing stock by 743 to 661, and ended the day unchanged.
