France stocks higher at close of trade; CAC 40 up 1.17% -Breaking

Investing.com – France stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

The index rose 1.14% at the Paris close.

These were the best performers of the session Societe Generale SA (EPA:) traded at 25.54 after the close, up 4.25% or 1.04 point. Meanwhile, BNP Paribas SA (EPA:), gained 4.16%, or 2.08 points, to finish at 52.12. ArcelorMittal SA was up 4.11% (or 1.13 points) to 28.52 late trade.

They were also the worst performers of the session. Vinci SA (EPA) dropped 1.21% to close at 89.86. Eurofins Scientific SE, (EPA:), fell 0.63% to trade at 89.86. Publicis Groupe SA (EPA:), was at 54.44 with a drop of 0.2% or 0.16 point.

Top performers in the SBF 120 competition were Rubis SCA (EPA 🙂 saw a 5.01% increase to 27.65 Derichebourg (EPA) which increased 4.99% to settle at 8.00 Eramet SA (EPA:), which gained 4.58% and closed at 141.70.

They were among the most disappointing. Valneva (EPA:), which fell 4.38% to 11.36 during late trade Euronext (EPA) lost 1.61% and settled at 75.74. Vinci SA (EPA) was down 1.21% at 89.86 by the end.

The Paris Stock Exchange saw rising stocks surpass declining stocks by 344 to 215, while 88 ended the same.

The was unchanged at 0.00% and 18.96, an all-time 52 week high.

The June Gold Futures were up 0.3% or 6.59, to $1.848.69 per troy ounce. Other commodities traded included Crude oil, which fell 0.39 or 0.35% to reach $109.89/barrel in July, and August Brent oil, which rose 0.07 or 0.07% to trade at $110.07/barrel.

EUR/USD rose 1.11% to 1.07 while EUR/GBP was unchanged at 0.49% and 0.85.

US Dollar Index Futures were down by 0.93% to 102.21
