PARIS, (Reuters) – A bill will be drafted by the new French government to safeguard consumers’ buying power ahead of June’s parliamentary elections. Olivia Gregoire spoke on Monday.

Rising costs of living are one key issue in the election campaign. It will be a major factor in whether or not President Emmanuel Macron wins a majority in parliament.
