Investing.com – Germany stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

The index rose 0.63% and gained 1.38% at the Frankfurt close.

These were the best performers of the session Deutsche Bank AG NA O.N. (ETR:), rose 7.01% (0.66 points) to trade at 10.02 by the close. Meanwhile, Linde PLC (ETR:), an additional 2.42% (7.15 points) to bring the final number of 302.80 to 3.20 Covestro AG Late trade saw an increase of 2.38% (or 0.95 points) in ETR.

The worst performers of the session were Fresenius SE & Co KGAA O.N. (ETR): The session’s worst performers were Fresenius SE & Co KGAA O.N., which dropped 0.84% (0.27 points), to close at 32.04. Zalando SE (ETR) fell 0.78%, or 0.28 points, to finish at 35.72. MTU Aero Engines NA O.N. (ETR) fell 0.66%, or 1.20 points, to 181.30.

These were the top performers of the TecDAX Nordex SE O.N. (ETR) rose by 3.49% and was 12.15 Telefonica Deutschland Holding AG (ETR) was at 2.84, which was an increase of 2.41%. Cancom SE O.N. also closed at 2.84 (ETR:), which gained 2.3% to settle at 36.54

These were the worst performers Eckert & Ziegler AG O.N. O.N. Morphosys AG O.N. (ETR:) which lost 1.50% to settle at 19.33 and S&T AG (ETR:) which was down 1.48% to 16.59 at the close.

On the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, rising stocks outnumbered those in decline by 480 to207 while 77 ended unaffected.

EUR/USD rose 1.09% to 1.07 while EUR/GBP was unchanged at 0.47% to 0.85.

US Dollar Index Futures were down by 0.92% to 102.22.
