LONDON, (Reuters) – Monday’s Kremlin statement stated that Russia had caused a food crisis in the world by imposing severe sanctions on Russia for its involvement in the conflict in Ukraine.

According to the Kremlin, President Vladimir Putin agreed with United Nations’ assessment of a global food crisis which could lead to famine.

Dmitry Peskov (Kremlin spokesperson) said, “Russia has always proven to be a reliable exporter of grains.” We are not responsible for the problems.”
