TOKYO, Reuters – A senior U.S. official said that President Joe Biden would “build upon the commonalities” he shared with Indian Prime Minister NarendraModi in talks Tuesday, despite disagreements on Russia and human rights issues.
Modi and Biden join leaders from Australia, Japan and Japan for the “Quad Summit” in Tokyo. They will also hold their own meetings on the sidelines.
