(Reuters] -Another mass shooting occurred on New York City’s mass transit system two months ago. A man was arrested Tuesday for the murder of a subway rider.

Andrew Abdullah (25) was charged in the killing of Daniel Enriquez (48) in Brooklyn. He was riding on a subwaycar Sunday morning when he was gunned down, according to a spokesperson for New York Police Department.

Reuters photographed Abdullah walking in the NYPD 5th Precinct Station, handcuffed and accompanied by a police officer. The NYPD tweeted (NYSE.) that the man was “placed in custody.”

His arrest was not immediately made public.

On Tuesday night, the police department tweeted that they were looking for Abdullah, a suspect in the shooting, and shared a photo of Abdullah, asking the public for their help.

Enriquez worked as an investment banker. Goldman Sachs Group Inc (NYSE:) was traveling on a train between Brooklyn and Lower Manhattan when he was struck in the chest. Authorities did not provoke him.

Bellevue Hospital declared Enriquez dead. The suspect is believed to have fled the train as it arrived at Canal Street Station.

The attack on Sunday puts more pressure on Eric Adams, an ex-police captain and Brooklyn Borough president who has made public safety and crime a key focus of last year’s campaign.

Adams and Kathy Hochul of New York promised that they would increase patrols of police and outreach to mental health in response to attacks on the subway system. This is the second month in Adams’ term.

The subway system was the victim of one the worst attacks it has ever seen. On April 12, a man opened fire on a subway train by setting off a smoke bomb. The attack resulted in 23 injuries, 10 of which were caused by gunfire.

Frank James (62 years old) was taken into custody the next day as a suspect in the attack. He was later indicted on federal charges of terrorism and related offenses.
