ECB: One-tenth of households living in the eurozone’s population centres now have cryptocurrency
The European Central Bank (or ECB) will meet Tuesday. Around 10% of the respondents in all six eurozone countries surveyed said that they have cryptocurrencies. Only 6% reported that they had digital assets greater than 30,000 euro. 37% said that they had crypto assets worth up to 99 euros.
All countries that were surveyed had the highest ratio of cryptocurrency ownership to income. Consumer Expectation Survey asked individuals aged 18 to 70 whether they owned any financial assets, including crypto-assets.
