(Reuters) – On Wednesday, a federal judge dismissed a suit by gun distributors, gun retailers and gun manufacturer groups challenging the constitutionality a New York law which allows state officials and gun violence victims to sue gun dealers.
U.S. District Judge Mae D’Agostino in Albany rejected a request by the National Shooting Sports Foundation and gun manufacturers, including Smith & Wesson and Sturm, Ruger & Co, to enjoin enforcement of the statute.
