Lucid Motors, NASDAQ: is recalling 2022 Air models because there was an issue with their display screen. NHTSA says that the display wiring harness could not have been properly secured, which may result in the display screens being disabled. It could affect 1,117 vehicles.

Display screens that are disabled stop showing critical information such as speedometer, gear selection and warning lights. According to the NHTSA, all of these factors can lead to an increase in the likelihood of a crash.

The wiring harness will be checked by dealers and secured as needed. On June 20, 2022, owners will receive notification letters.

It is the second company recall. Lucid had recalled 200 Air Luxury vehicles in February because of a safety concern with the suspension.
