Sberbank’s online banking operations compatible with Russian-made system -Breaking

(Reuters] Russian lender Sberbank announced Wednesday that SberBusiness, and SberPro online banking services were fully compatible to Astra Linux, a Russian-made operating systems.

This is an important step in the quest to remove dependence on other systems online banking. The lender owned by the state was previously hit with Western sanctions for Russia’s actions.

According to the bank, Sberbank’s online Banking received a certification confirming that it is compatible with Astra Linux. SberBusiness is used by more than 2 million of the 100 million plus customers.

Anna Loevskaya is the director of Sberbank’s Digital Corporate Bank Division. She stated that it was crucial for banks to interact via digital channels.
