Al Jazeera TV to refer killing of its journalist to ICC

REUTERS/Raneen SawaftaCAIRO, Reuters – Qatar’s Al Jazeera TV Network has announced that it will refer the murder of Shireen Abu Akleh (journalist) to the International Criminal Court (ICC). It made this announcement in a televised speech on Thursday.
Abu Akleh was a well-known Palestinian-American Al Jazeera journalist who was killed in an Israeli raid on the occupied West Bank.
Al Jazeera will have its legal team prepare a file about the murder of Abu Akleh and international legal experts to send it to the ICC.
