(Reuters) – Amber Heard, the “Aquaman” actor said Thursday to jurors that she is now being harassed online and threatened with death every day by Johnny Depp over claims that he abused her during and after their short marriage.

Heard was asked by her lawyers to return to the witness stand during the multimillion-dollar defamation case against the ex-couple.

Heard spoke in tears and said she had been harassed, humiliated, threatened daily since accusing the star of “Pirates of the Caribbean”, of sexual abuse.

Heard claimed that people want to murder me, and this is something they keep telling me every day. People want to microwave my baby.” Heard had a baby girl adopted by her in July 2021.

Depp sued Heard, aged 58, for $50 million. He claimed that Depp defamed her when she said she was “a public figure representing domestic violence.” Heard, 36 has countersued and claimed Depp made fun of her because her lawyer called her accusations a hoax.

Heard said to the jury, “Johnny has had enough of mine voice.” I have the right tell my story. “I have the right to tell my story.Depp said that she had not hit Heard or any women and was only the person who made their relationship violent.

He said Wednesday that “No human being can be perfect.” “But, I have never before committed any sexual battery, or other physical abuse.”

Heard and Depp met in 2011, while they were filming “The Rum Diary”. The pair got married in February 2015. About two years later, Depp and Heard divorced.

Heard’s December 2018 Washington Post article is the centerpiece of this legal case. Depp was not mentioned in the article, however his lawyer said that Heard was clearly referring specifically to Depp.

Depp was once a Hollywood star and said that Heard’s accusations cost him everything. Depp’s new movie “Pirates” was cancelled and he was replaced by the director of “Fantastic Beasts”, a spinoff from Harry Potter.

Heard’s legal team argued she was truthful and her opinions were protected by the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. Depp’s accusations also led to her losing work opportunities at Hollywood.

Depp lost an libel suit against the Sun in London two years ago. The Sun is a British tabloid and called Depp a “wifebeater.” Heard had been repeatedly attacked by Depp, a London High Court judge said.

Because the Washington Post is published in Fairfax County Virginia, Depp’s attorneys filed the U.S. lawsuit. The newspaper is not being sued.
