(Reuters) – Dollar Tree Inc (NASDAQ:) Increased its year-end sales forecast on Thursday, thanks to more Americans shopping at discount shops as high inflation saps their purchasing power.

According to the discount chain, fiscal 2022 net sales will be between $27.76 billion and $28.14 trillion. This is a significant increase from its previous forecasts of $27.22 billion or $27.85 million. Refinitiv data shows that analysts are expecting $27.95 Billion in annual sales.
