(Reuters) – Actors Johnny Depp & Amber Heard have filed a lawsuit against each other, alleging that they were abused in their two-year relationship.

On Friday, after the closing arguments of each side have been heard by the jury, deliberations will start.

Here are some key points from the trial.

Depp said that he had never hit Heard, or any other women. She was alleged to have been the one who made him feel abused and called him “demeaning names”.

“If I continued to argue, it would eventually escalate into violence. And it often did.”

– Depp and Depp had a disagreement about an argument they were having in Australia during early 2015. Depp was filming the fifth movie “Pirates of the Caribbean”.

Depp stated that Heard tore off the top of His right middle finger when he threw him a vodka container. According to Depp, he fell into shock and wrote messages on the wall using blood from the injury.

Heard said that Depp was not injured and she was the victim. Sobbing, she said that Depp sexually assaulted the victim by placing a vodka bottle into her genitals. She said, “I was afraid.” He was just married to me.”

Heard claimed that Depp had broken her nose and tore off chunks of her hair in another brutal encounter a few months later.

Heard’s attorneys presented photographs that showed her injuries following various fights. These included visible scars on her left arm as she took part in a red carpet photo shoot, redness around the eye, swelling, and redness. Depp lawyers showed photos from their public appearances during the fight. Depp’s lawyers claimed that Heard altered photos so the reddishness was more prominent. Heard claimed that she had not edited the photos.

Depp said that in 2016, he found feces under the bed of Depp. According to one of Depp’s security guards, Heard said that it was “a terrible practical joke gone wrong”. Heard said that Heard was innocent and suggested that one of his dogs might be responsible.

Heard’s lawyers presented text messages to Depp, in which Depp called Heard filthy and claimed he wants her dead.

Depp, in 2013 wrote to Paul Bettany: “Let’s drowne her before we set her ablaze” and added that “I will make sure her dead body is fucked afterward.”
