France stocks higher at close of trade; CAC 40 up 1.78% -Breaking

Investing.com – France stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

Paris closed with the gains of 1.78% and 1.73% respectively.

They were the top performers at the session Worldline SA (EPA):, which gained 4.74% (1.80 points), to trade at 39.74 by the close. Airbus Group SE (EPA 🙂 gained 4.10% or 4.30 to finish at 109.06 Safran Late trade saw SA (EPA) rise 4.08%, or 3.86 points, to 98.58

They were also the worst performers of the session. Danone SA (EPA:), fell 0.73% (0.40 points) to close at 54.56 Vivendi SA (EPA) fell 0.04 point or 0.32% to 10.99, while Engie SA was at 12.74 with a drop of 0.31% (0.04 points)

These were the top performers on SBF 120 Orpea SA (EPA;) rose 6.95% up to 26.17 Faurecia (EPA:), which rose 6.85% to settle in at 25.26 Valeo SA (EPA) gained 6.71% and closed at 20.04.

These were the worst performers Vallourec (EPAS:), which fell 7.14% to 12.95 by late trade. Danone SA (EPAS:), which lost 0.73% at 54.56, and Getlink SE(EPAS:), which dropped 0.62% at 18.43 at close.

The Paris Stock Exchange saw rising stocks surpassing declining stocks by 375 percent to 158 percent, and the 108th day was unchanged.

The implied volatility index of CAC 40 options was at a 52-week low of 0.00%, or 18.96.

For June delivery, Gold Futures rose 0.01% to $1,846.43 per troy an ounce. Other commodities traded included Crude oil, which rose by 3.47% to reach $114.16/barrel in July, and August Brent oil, which rose 2.97 or 2.97 to trade for $114.09/barrel.

EUR/USD was steady at 1.07 and EUR/GBP stable at 0.18%.

At 101.98, the US Dollar Index Futures fell 0.09%.
