Splinterlands’ Validator Nodes Pre-sale Sold Out in 11 MinutesSplinterlands’ Play-to Earn (P2E), presale Validator Node licensing was hugely successful. They sold out in just minutes.
Within 11 minutes of its pre-sale, the Validator Node License was sold. This milestone saw 14.5 Million SPS burned and 1,000,000 vouchers sold. The DAO, which had approximately $4 million of USD value, was able to add 3.6M.
A portion of the monthly 3,750,000 SPS will go to the node operator, with 10% reserved for the 100 top operators.
The Validator Node License is recognized as a major milestone for Splinterlands in its goal of moving toward a decentralized business framework, which allows users to obtain Splintershards (SPS), Splinterlands’ governance tokens.
Licenses will only be sold through SPS or vouchers. 80% of SPS are burned right away after the sale. For players who want to play a role in governing, 20% will be added into the DAO.
