WASHINGTON, (Reuters) – U.S. State Department approved sale of CH-47F Chinook helicopters to Egypt at an estimated $2.6 billion cost.
The Pentagon stated that Egypt requested 23 CH-47F Chinook helicopters. Boeing (NYSE: Helicopter Co.) will serve as the main contractor.
