OSLO (Reuters – Norse Atlantic Airways has opened ticket sales between London and New York, as it seeks market share in one of the busiest long-haul routes.

Round-trip tickets for travel between London’s Gatwick Airport (London) and John F. Kennedy International Airport (John F. Kennedy International Airport) will cost 255 pounds ($322) plus taxes.

Norse Atlantic is offering a daily service. Additional U.S. destinations will be revealed soon.

After securing low-cost leases in the pandemic, this airline hopes to be able to offer transatlantic flights at affordable rates.

It currently operates 15 Boeing (787 Dreamliners) from the NYSE. Four of these aircraft are sub-leased to Air Europa, Spain.
