France stocks higher at close of trade; CAC 40 up 1.64% -Breaking

Investing.com – France stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

Paris closed with an increase of 1.64% and the index gaining 1.55%.

They were the top performers at the session Alstom SA (EPA:) rose 4.67%, or 1.16 point to trade at 26,01.01 at the closing. Meanwhile, Kering SA (EPA) was increased by 4.55%, or 21.30 point to reach 489.00 Hermes International Late trade saw SCA (EPA) rise 4.45%, or 46.50 point to 1,092.00

WFD Unibail Rodamco NV / AS: were the worst-performing session. They fell 2.28%, or 1.54 point to trade at 66.07 by the closing. Sanofi SA (EPA) lost 1.18%, or 1.22 points, to close at 102.38 Carrefour SA (EPA:), was 0.18 point lower at 19.11.

Top performers in the SBF 120 competition were Biomerieux SA (EPA 🙂 rose 5.44% at 98.14. Alstom SA, EPA : was up 4.67% at 26.01; Kering SA EPA : gained 4.55% at 489.00.

They were among the most disappointing. Maisons du Monde SAS (EPA:), which fell 26.91% and 12.93 in late-trade, Klepierre SA (EPA:), which dropped 2.93% to settle on 21.56, and WFD Unibail Rodamco NV [AS:], which declined 2.28% at close to 66.07.

The Paris Stock Exchange saw rising stocks surpass declining stocks by 350% to 174% and 101 respectively.

Maisons du Monde SAS’s shares fell by 26.91% (or 4.76%) to reach 52-week lows.

For June delivery, Gold Futures rose 0.18% to $1850.86 per troy. In commodities trading, crude oil rose 0.47 percent or 0.47 to $114.56 per barrel in July, and the August Brent oil contract rose 0.70 or 0.80 to $114.97 per barrel.

EUR/USD was stable at 1.07 and EUR/GBP at 0.82.

At 101.86 the US Dollar Index Futures was at 0.00%.
