TOKYO, Reuters – Fumio Kishhida, the Japanese Prime Minister, stated Friday that capital gains tax was still being debated by his government.

The discussion on the adoption of the taxation was effectively put on hold as investors expressed concerns over its possible impact on Japan’s stock markets.
