Flight cancellations ease after rocky start to Memorial Day weekend

Flight delays continued on Sunday, although they were less severe than the start to Memorial Day weekend. The disruptions are a challenge for carriers who prepare for busy summer travel after two years of the Covid epidemic.

According to Delta, 87% of its customers were rebooked for flights departing within 11 hours.
