REUTERS/Tingshu WangBEIJING (Reuters) – China will implement new rules for the multi-channel network industry from June 30, the National Radio and Television Administration said on its website on Monday.
Broadcasting regulators stated that firms within the industry must apply for licenses in order to be allowed to operate and adhere to rules regarding the content and livestreamers they produce.
The agency was also asked to improve supervision and management for official fan groups accounts.
