• Binance is now ready to distribute the LUNA airdrops to LUNC/USTC holders.

Binance, one the most popular cryptocurrency exchanges has just announced the completion of (LUNA), airdrop distribution to Terra Classic and TerraClassicUSD holders.

It was made public via the official website of the Ministry in the early hours today (May 31, 2022).

Users who use Binance must confirm receipt of tokens by visiting the User Center’s distribution page. Users are advised to uncheck the “Hide 0 balances” in their Spot Wallets to view the LUNA tokens.

Binance also mentioned different criteria that are required for USTC or LUNC airdrops. One of these is snapshot timing. This was the following:

People from sanctions countries and the US are not eligible to receive this airdrop.

Binance now allows deposits of LUNA tokens. It has suspended all trading pairs since Thursday, May 26, and also made deposits. But withdrawals of LUNA won’t commence until June 1, 2022, 06:00:00 (UTC).

Earlier in the month, Terraform Labs’ official token, LUNA lost 100 percent of its value. Its algorithmic stable, UST also suffered a loss of its pegging. Terraform Labs introduced LUNA 2.0, a brand new blockchain as part its revival plan.

After days of revival proposals, LUNA 2.0 was officially launched last Friday (May 27). Proposal Number. Proposal No. 1623 was to rename Terra’s existing Terra blockchain as Terra Classic (LUNC), and to create a new Blockchain (LUNA). With 65.5% vote, this proposal passed.
