PARIS (Reuters) – Global airlines on Tuesday downplayed fears that inflation might impede a rebound of air travel. They said some carriers would cut ticket prices if it was necessary to stimulate the market.

Willie Walsh (director General of the International Air Transport Association) also spoke to a group journalists, saying that most recent chaos in Europe’s travel was due to delays in obtaining security clearances for staff. He expects this situation will improve.
