(Reuters) – Panasonic OTC: Corp on Wednesday said that global auto production would recover during the current fiscal year but that there will still be a two-year-long shortage of chips.

Japanese company, which produces batteries for Tesla (NASDAQ) Inc., stated last month that it expects no profit growth this year due to shortages of components in China, COVID-19 lockdowns and increasing material costs after Russia invades Ukraine.
