Meta Platforms’ Sheryl Sandberg to Step Down as COO; Shares Fall -Breaking

Investing.com — Meta Platforms stated Wednesday that Sheryl Sandberg is stepping down as chief working officer after 14 years on the social media big.

Meta Platforms (NASDAQ:) fell greater than 2% in current buying and selling.

Javier Olivan, Chief Progress Officer will exchange Sandberg as COO within the fall. 

Sandberg will, nonetheless, stay on Meta’s board.

“Over the following few months, Mark and I’ll transition my direct experiences and I’ll depart the corporate this fall,” Sandberg stated.
