REUTERS/Dado Ruvic/IllustrationWASHINGTON (Reuters) – The Biden administration is contemplating “all choices” because it opinions potential modifications to U.S. duties on Chinese language imports, together with tariff reduction and new commerce investigations in a shift of focus to strategic issues with Beijing, Deputy U.S. Commerce Consultant Sarah Bianchi mentioned on Thursday.
Bianchi informed Reuters in an interview that the commerce company is looking for to handle long-term challenges from China and “getting a tariff construction that actually is smart.”
“We’re every part and what we’re targeted on is ensuring that we now have once more, a long run realignment of the connection with China, specializing in a few of the issues … similar to non-market practices and financial coercion,” Bianchi mentioned.
