REUTERS/Hannah BeierWASHINGTON (Reuters) – The White Home expects vaccinations of younger youngsters to start in earnest as early as June 21, if federal authorities approve their use in coming weeks, White Home COVID response coordinator Ashish Jha mentioned on Thursday.
Jha informed reporters that the U.S. authorities had sufficient COVID-19 vaccines from Pfizer Inc (NYSE:) and Moderna (NASDAQ:) Inc to start this system for younger youngsters if and when the vaccines are permitted.
He mentioned the federal authorities would make 10 million vaccines out there to state and native authorities to start out broad-based vaccinations of younger youngsters beneath age 5.
